MDA at the Forefront of the Fight to Prevent the Spread of the CoronaVirus

Following the request of Clalit and Meuchedet HMOs, MDA set up this morning (Saturday) “Drive Thru” compounds near Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem. The compound started to operate at 9:00 am and will be closed at 5pm.

Only those who were summoned by the HMO and holding an ID card can be tested.

From the opening of the compound this morning at 09:00 until this hour (11:50), Magen David Adom teams took samples from 320 people.

Five test posts were set up at the site and, as stated, MDA teams will continue to take samples today until 5 pm.

In addition and at the request of The Ministry of Health, Magen David Adom will re-establish the “Drive Throu ” compounds in Tel Aviv’s Ganei Yehoshua, Haifa, Jerusalem and Be’er Sheva.

We did so successfully and effectively since the outbreak of the Corona virus in Israel about 3 months ago  and will do that again this time ”
