Baw-Pony EV First Responder Vehicle
MDA’s First Responders Unit seeks to enhance its resources with a mini electric vehicle with 2 seats and a big trunk which is able to contain medical equipment, with an Israeli category B license which can move quickly and in narrow areas. The size of the car is small and that way it keeps its relative advantage manoeuvring in heavy traffic, in narrow areas where larger lifesaving vehicles have difficulty moving and finding parking places. A generous donation of AUD$50,000 will allow us to purchase a new electric first responder vehicle.

Standard Ambulance
Our ambulances are well equipped to transport its patients quickly and safely to hospital whilst the patient can continue to receive expert medical care. Our ambulance crews can make the crucial difference between life and death. A generous donation of AUD$180,000 will allow us to purchase a new, state-of-the-art ambulance and help our medics to save more lives.

Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
In 1978 Magen David Adom became the first organisation in Israel to develop advanced life support techniques outside hospital walls – Mobile Intensive Care Unit vehicles. Resuscitation is one of the most important activities within the Emergency Medical System, saving the lives of patients with cardiac arrests, serious road traffic accidents and a specialised neonatal intensive care unit for the transfer of premature high-risk newborn babies. When a patient is suffering a major trauma or severe bleeding or requires urgent medication or fluids, the MICU’s and its crew can make those lifesaving judgments instantly. A generous donation of AUD$250,000 will allow us to purchase a new, state-of-the-art Mobile Intensive Care Unit which carries the instant lifesaving equipment to deal with any situation.

Bullet Proof Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
The MDA Bulletproof MICU serves MDA’s urgent need for means of safe transport and evacuation while shielding the patient/victim and the MDA crew from harm where hostilities may be directed at Magen David Adom lifesaving vehicles. The Bulletproof ambulance is an integral part of the organisation’s ability in providing lifesaving services. A generous donation of AUD$600,000 will allow us to purchase a new, state-of-the-art ambulance and help our medics to save more lives whilst protecting their own.

Medicycles
In order to optimise the chances of saving lives, Magen David Adom developed a system using a fleet of specially designed motorbikes, whereby First Responders can reach the scene of an accident in those first vital moments. This can be the difference between life and death, as they negotiate the heavy traffic that is so common in Israel’s bigger cities. These 2 and 3-wheeled bikes carry vital supplies including advanced resuscitation equipment. MDA Medicycles can be purchased from AUD$56,000.

Street Defibrillator
Our aim is to place a defibrillator on street corners throughout Israel! Immediate response is vital. A victims chance of survival dramatically decreases for every minute without treatment. That’s why public access defibrillators are so important. Our aim is to put a defibrillator on street corners throughout Israel. Through this initiative, Magen David Adom will ensure the public is equipped to help save lives. A generous donation of AUD$12,000 will purchase a street defibrillator.
